it is official: Beginning January 1st, 2008, smoking is prohibited in public buildings in the state of Bavaria. as early as ispo winter 05, the organizers decided to impose a "non-smoking recommendation" in halls B4 through B6 at the outdoor_ispo. One year later, the ban was extended across the entire exposition space, and trade show participants reacted positively. at ispo winter 08, held from January 27th through 30th, 2008, smoking is prohibited in all the exhibition halls and public spaces of the New Munich Trade Fair.
