The Austrian Christian Stangl is the new star at the international extreme mountaineer scene.

His present goal is the ascent of the „Seven Summits�? in a new time record. After incredible records at Mount Everest and Aconcagua Stangl went in for an expedition to the 4.884 m high Carstensz pyramid in West Papua which is the highest mountain of Australia and Oceania. Under hard climatic and logistical conditions the expedition crossed Papua’s „green hell“.

Regardless the draining march Stangl achieved in 49mins a splendid new time record at the ascent of the Carstensz pyramid.

After-work event – Fingerfood, drinks, fashion show and a great atmosphere at the Snow, Ice & Rock Summit.
