Once again the best product innovations of the ski sector will be awarded at winter ispo 2008. The European Ski Award will honour the best new products for the winter season 2008/09 in the categories hardware, ski boots, ski bindings, skiwear, nordic and others.

Following a successful premiere at the ispo winter 07, the snow ice & rock summit will rings in its second round at ispo winter 08. The outdoor specialist Bergans of Norway will present the industry's largest meeting place for the outdoor, ski, and backcountry segments at an area of more than 1,700 square meters. During the four days of the trade show, hall A6 will host presentations and discussions of the associated trends and issues.

Furthermore, the partners of the snow ice & rock summit, Bergans of Norway and Schoeller Textil AG, will provide an attractive and diverting event program for the visitors.

Among the many program highlights of the snow ice & rock summit 2008 presented by Bergans of Norway are the DAV Boulder Cup, the Outdoor Fashion Show, as well as industry-related presentations and panel discussions on the topics of outdoor navigation, production of sustainable outdoor products, trail running, SkiYo, and Wearable Technologies.
Needless to say, stirring adventure reports, e.g. by Skyrunner Christian Stangl, by the Dynafit-Gore-Tex Team Benedikt Böhm/ Sebsatian Haag or by Bergans of Norway’s South Pole explorer Rune Gjeldnes will make the snow ice & rock worlds a tangible experience again this year.

From physical peak performances at the boulders of the DAV Boulder Cup up to industry-related presentations and the Outdoor Fashion Show, there will be again provided a wide spectrum!

ispo Trend Barometer: The fourth issue of the ispo Trend Barometer, a professional study conducted among more than 20,000 specialty retailers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
